August 13th Announcements

I've managed to post one of the many inspiring photos pouring out from the Men's Retreat.  I think this one was taken at their sunset worship where they shared why they were thankful for their wives.

• Kitchen Guild is back - they are looking for volunteers starting September 14th.   Please contact Linda Thomas at jenandmelsmom@yahoo.com  (cute email address)
• Manna Bag Logo Contest - They are looking for images that help convey God's provision inspiring their caring for our neighbors and God's love.  The 4th and 5th graders will vote on the winner.
• August 21st is Movin' On and Movin' Up.  Parents will hear about the Sunday School program, Children's Choir, and our FUMC Childcare team in Wesley Hall at 10am.
• Also on the 21st is the Blessing of the Backpacks.  Kinder moms - grab a tissue.  Bring your kiddos backpacks to church and receive a little blessing before school begins.
